There is nothing more important than bringing a healthy baby into the world. Women’s Physicians and Surgeons does everything possible to ensure that you and your baby get the safest birth. We start by providing exceptionally thorough prenatal care. Our board certified physicians are well versed in the latest obstetric techniques. We deliver only at hospitals with 24 hour coverage by neonatologists (physicians specializing in the care of newborns). You and your baby are monitored during labor with the most modern equipment and highly trained compassionate nurses. If an emergency arises and a cesarean section is necessary, we have the ability to do it rapidly with in house anesthesiologists available 24 hours a day.

Women’s Physicians and Surgeons want your delivery to be not only safe, but rewarding. We appreciate that having a baby is a very special event. Whether you want to have natural child birth or epidural anesthesia, we will fully support your decision. Our doctors encourage the father to accompany you during your labor and delivery and if he wishes, dad is often allowed to cut the umbilical cord.
