Michael Dimino MD.
Dr. Michael Dimino was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and attended college at SUNY at Stonybrook on Long Island. He graduated George Washington School of Medicine in 1990 and began his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, New York. Upon completion of his residency, he joined Women's Physicians and Surgeons in 1994. Dr. Dimino became an attending physician on staff at CentraState Medical Center that same year, and later a member of Monmouth Medical Center's staff in 2002. He attained his Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1996 and became a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN.
Throughout his years in practice with Women's Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Dimino has helped to bring many innovative and minimally invasive surgical techniques to the area, including advanced hysteroscopic surgery such as myomectomy and endometrial ablation (an outpatient procedure that quickly and permanently relieves heavy menstrual cycles). Even with all the new technological advances in gynecologic surgery, Dr. Dimino finds the obstetrics aspect of the practice to be the most rewarding. Providing high quality and personal care to his patients throughout pregnancy, labor and delivery has been his biggest commitment. He also appeared in an episode of "A Baby Story" in 2002, an experience he thoroughly enjoyed.
Dr. Dimino lives in Freehold Township with his wife, Mary, and daughters, Christine and Danielle. His favorite recreational activities include skiing, and riding his Harley motorcycle. |
