Safrir Neuwirth, M.D.
Dr. Neuwirth is Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has been in practice with Women's Physicians and Surgeons since 1999. Born in Israel, he relocated at an early age and grew up in Long Island. He obtained his undergraduate degree in mathematics at Binghamton University, NY. Dr. Neuwirth began his medical education at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan where he received his medical degree. He thereafter completed his internship and residency in OB/GYN at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Dr. Neuwirth became Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is on the medical staff of both CentraState Medical Center in Freehold and Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ.
Dr. Neuwirth takes pride in providing quality, compassionate care and educating the patient, while encouraging her to participate in her own care. He incorporates the latest GYN surgical techniques such as minimally invasive surgery and has special interest in infertility evaluation and high-risk obstetrics. You may catch Dr. Neuwirth on a re-run episode of “A Baby Story” initially aired on TLC in the fall of 2003.
Dr. Neuwirth lives in Marlboro with his wife, Orlee, and their two young children. His outside interests include tennis, travel, music, and spending quality time with his friends and family. |
